Cancellations
My Empowering Impact, LLC understands that sudden events occur/change. Therefore, no fee is imposed if a class has to be rescheduled for another date and/or time offered by our agency within 30 days. However, all sales are final and no refunds are granted after 24 hours of payment and/or once services are rendered. My Empowering Impact, LLC cannot guarantee that each individual that participates in the training/s will pass testing course requirements. However; we strive to give individuals the knowledge needed for successful course completion and we encourage participants to be on time and prepared to learn.
Inclement Weather/Emergency Cancellations
If an emergency should occur inclusive of illness/injury of instructor, family emergencies and/or inclement weather that ultimately results in the cancellation of a class My Empowering Impact, LLC will allow registered students to have first precedence in attending the next scheduled class. If no classes are available within 10 days of a cancelled class My Empowering Impact, LLC will issue a full refund. However, if a class is canceled due to a state of emergency related event classes will be rescheduled within 14 days. If a student chooses not to enroll in the next class offered within 14 days 50% of the refund will be forfeited and the other 50% will be refunded to the student.
Attendance
No smoking is permitted in the classroom.
Students are expected to arrive on time for class and stay for the duration of the course in order to receive a certification.
In the event that a student does not show for a course “no show” the student automatically forfeits payment.
If a student is participating in an American Heart Association (AHA) course they must adhere to the AHA policy which is that students are required to have his or her book prior to class. If a student already has his/her book he/she is welcome to bring it and use it.
If a student needs to purchase a book prior to class the AHA website, Amazon, Channing Bête and other online book resources may be available for needed material.
Privacy and Protection
Once you select your payment option, you will be taken to a secure PayPal processing site to pay your registration fee. You will then return to our site and receive your receipt via email. Your information and security is important to us. All information obtained through our online payment system is secured through Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) (HTTP over SSL or HTTP Secure) protocols/connection. HTTPS provides secure communication by encryption which allows us to secure and protect important data such as credit card information. You can also find comfort in knowing that many large retailers and banks use HTTPS connections. Your credit card information is never stored with My Empowering Impact, LLC therefore, you can pay with ease.
